Survey: Weigh in on the impact of Solyndra’s bankruptcy

This week Solyndra announced plans to file for bankruptcy and said it will lay off 1,100 employees. The news comes as a huge blow to many, including the Department of Energy, which gave it a $535 million federal loan guarantee in 2009, as well as the investors that pumped at least $1 billion into the firm. How will the event impact the larger cleantech industry, the ability for greentech startups to get funding, the solar sector as a whole and the DOE’s future support of clean energy?
