Well, it’s on track to earn $2.8 billion this year.
Phillips revealed the stat during the company’s annual convention last week, reports InformationWeek. That would make Infor as big as Salesforce.com, which clearly surprised Marc Benioff when the two were chatting on stage.
It’s like the biggest enterprise software company that no one really sees.
Infor makes enterprise resource planning software and competes with Oracle and SAP.
It is following in Oracle’s footsteps in other ways. Most of its growth has come from acquisitions, including a $2 billion deal last summer for ERP software maker Lawson Software. Philips doesn’t plan to stop. Earlier this month, it got another infusion of cash and has now grabbed $1 billion of funding over the last six months from Golden Gate Capital and Summit Partners.
Expect to hear a lot more about Infor. Its investors are hinting they want to take it public.
