Check out this picture of the mold used to make the iPad Mini, as reported by German tech blog Giga.de (we found it via BGR).
We already know the iPad Mini will have a 7.85-inch display, but now a very unscientific look at the photo has us thinking that the device will be a little thinner than the iPhone 4S.
Apple is expected to announce the iPad Mini at a separate press event in October. (Not the Sept. 12 event when it’ll announce the iPhone 5.)
