Asymco’s Horace Dediu has been tracking the smartphone market in the U.S. since 2010, and he guessed correctly that smartphones would reach 50% penetration in October of last year.
Based on the smartphone market share growth, Dediu now predicts that smartphones will reach 80% saturation in the U.S. by August 2014.
