HP’s CEO Meg Whitman will hold an all hands meeting with the WebOS staff to finally figure out what to do with the division, according to a tipster on Pre Central.
The meeting is supposed to take place at 10:30 a.m. Pacific.
WebOS has been in limbo since HP decided to stop making hardware running the OS, just weeks after the launch of the TouchPad. Since then, Leo Apotheker, the CEO at the time, has stepped down, and Whitman was selected to take his place.
Your guess is as good as ours as to what will happen. We’ll know for sure tomorrow though.
Do you work in the WebOS division? Drop us a line and let us know what’s going on. We’re discreet.
