“This post tells the whole story, but between me, my kids, and scores of other kids around the world on our server, I am pretty busy playing this game and constructing elaborate worlds.”
“I love their cloud services and use them to host my blog, Venrock’s website, and my Minecraft servers. I spend a lot of time as an Op for MC, so having a flexible dashboard, good monitoring tools, and a high-performance host are critical to me. I like monitoring our servers from my iPhone with the Rackspace app and tied a bunch of great stats into a nice Geckoboard dashboard that I keep open on my desktop.”
3. Google’s forthcoming real-time analytics
“I love staring at the global map and seeing where all of our traffic is coming from. They also have these incredible user flow charts which help you visualize the path through your site.”
4. WordPress and the WordPress community
“I absolutely love what WordPress has become. I love its interface, I love the vibrant developer community, I love the incredible selection of templates, and I love the tens of thousands of plug-ins. I feel so empowered that WordPress + HTML5 + things like JQueryMobile can create world-class websites and web applications.
