While all eyes have been on Google and its self-driving car prototype, Chinese electric car maker BYD has released a vehicle that already drives itself, sometimes.

The car is called the Su Rui and it comes with a remote control that lets you park it or call it to you. But don’t expect it to race to your side if you need to quick getaway. When driving by itself it will only hit a top speed of 1.2 miles per hour, reports John Koetsier at VentureBeat.

Still, this is the first full-size car that you can drive — at any speed — with a remote control. The remote is also good for turning on the heat or AC, so you can stay in your house until the car is nice and comfy, instead of spending those first few minutes sweating or freezing.

The Su Rui is priced at $10,365 for the 1.5 liter model or $15,710 for a turbo model. While the car is currently only being sold in China, it proves that a self-driving car, as a commercial possibility, are on their way.
