Uproar as #oldTwitter users soon to be forced to join #newTwitter for good

June 23, 2011

How do you know what “most users” use? Do you have any statistics on that?

I don’t understand why it seems impossible to understand that some users perform the more simple, less distracting user interface. I was told by one person that we were “resistant to change” when if the NewTwitter was an improvement I liked, I would have immediately changed. But it’s not an improvement. It’s too busy and distracts from the content.

It’s funny how Apple fans can be praised for preferring the simplicity of Apple computers but others are criticized as if they are Luddites if they like a more streamlined design with fewer features (that we never use anyway).
